Singapore Chilli Mud Crab
When everyone thinks about Singapore, they think of balmy nights and throwing back Singapore Slings whilst eating Singapore Chilli Crab.
Recreate that same Singapore Chilli Crab with our delicious Singapore Chilli Garlic Sauce, which comes with the recipe so you can whisk your friends and family away to Singapore for the night.

Ingredients
- 1 whole Mudcrab, cut into quarters
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 jar of Lord & Lion Singapore Chilli Garlic Sauce
- 1 cup of crushed tomatoes
- 1 egg, beaten
- Three green onions finely chopped
- Coriander leaves
- Fresh lime
Method
- Separate the crab into four pieces
- Heat a large skillet or wok over moderate to high heat, add in the crab along with the olive oil and begin to sauté, cook until crab turns orange.
- Add in the Singapore Chilli Garlic Sauce along with the tomatoes, cover with a lid allowing to steam for 3 to 4 minutes.
- Remove crab from the sauce, work in the beaten egg, then return crab back to the sauce, finish with fresh herbs and lime juice before serving
Note : if at all you feel uncomfortable anaesthetising a live crab the alternative is to buy a pre-cooked one.
