Majestic Mango Drops
We’ve taken these classic jam drops and given them a Lord & Lion spin by adding our delicious Majestic Mango Conserve, packed FULL of Alphonso mangoes, the king of all mangoes, so that you can enjoy them on the go tall year round! It is so easy to make these delicious, melt-in-your-mouth jam drops with only 10 mins prep time required – and you only need the most basic ingredients!

Prep time: 10 mins + 30 mins for refrigeration
Cook time: 15 mins
Ingredients
• 200g butter (any will do!), softened to room temperature
• 1 cup of caster sugar
• 1 tsp vanilla extract or vanilla bean paste (opt.)
• ½ tsp baking powder
• 1 tsp Ceylon Cinnamon
• 2 eggs
• 2 cups of plain flour, sifted
Method:
- Cream the butter and sugar with an electric mixer for a few minutes until pale.
- Add eggs and mix through for about 30 seconds.
- Add the flour, vanilla extract/paste, Ceylon Cinnamon and baking powder and mix for another couple of minutes until mixed through.
- Lightly flour your hands and spoon 2 tsp of the mixture into your hands and make a small ball about the size of a large marble.
- Place onto greased and lined baking tray. Complete for the rest of the mixture and place 3-4 cm apart on the trays.
- With the tip of your finger make a small indent in the balls and add ½ tsp of the Lord & Lion Majestic Mango Conserve.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 180C and place trays in oven for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool and serve!
